Weight Training: Romanian Dead-Lift
This movement is the Romanian Dead-lift. When done properly it will train the lower back isometrically as well as the glutes and a special emphasis on developing strength in the hamstring muscle group. When performing this movement be sure the athlete maintains a flat back by pushing the hips backwards and maintains a straight bar path by keeping the bars as close to the legs as possible.
