This movement is the power clean to jerk combination. When done properly this movement is an excellent tool to develop full body power and explosiveness. Points of emphasis from doing the power clean to jerk is to allow the athlete to reset in between the two movements and to ensure they set up with proper foot position to perform the jerk rather than a front squat. It is also important to make sure the athlete maintains overhead stability with the bar before standing up.
