This movement is the hang high pull to hang clean combination. When setting up for this movement, the athlete should first stand up and lower the bar into the hang position. When performing this movement the athlete should maintain control of the bar and absorb it as its lowered when transitioning from the pole to the catch. Additionally, the athlete should try to achieve full hip extension as they pull the bar in both movements.
