Weight Training: Clean High Pull
This movement is the clean high pull. When done properly it will train the athlete in rapid and powerful hip extension. When setting up for this movement it is important that the athlete maintain a flat back and engaged core and have the bar centered above their feet before beginning the movement. Also, it is important to note that this move must be mastered before moving on to the full power clean.
