This is a two-step triple jump drill teaching athletes all three phases of the triple jump with low speeds. Set the cones at a distance that the athlete can reach the pit easily and gain confidence. Do this multiple times to teach the sequence of the hop step and jump phase of the full triple jump. Back up to 4, 6, 8, 10 and even full approach as the athlete gets better.
