The 10 meter crouch start is used to teach the athlete the proper body angle of the first steps of the acceleration. The athlete is loading the foot dropping the front knee in and falling forward. As the athlete steps here with the left foot, focusing on hitting the ground actively, driving the foot down and back as aggressively as possible.
