Shot Put: Right Side Snatch Drill
The right side snatch drill is used by all shot put throwers to teach and learning sequential timing while working from the ground up. The athlete is reaching back with the plate then flicking the right heel out, then turning the knee and punching the hip and then the arms. Heel, knee, hip, arms. The weight may vary depending on the age and level experience of the athlete.
