Shot Put: Heavy Med Ball Full Toss

The heavy med ball full body toss drill can be used with all shot put throwers. This drill teaches the athlete to use large muscle groups by first working from the ground up. The heavy med ball forces the athlete to use the right leg and glute muscles by pushing up and forward, before trying to push with the upper body.
