Shot Put: Glide Front Drill
This is the shot put front drill with the feet parallel to the toe board. The purpose of this drill is to teach the beginning level athletes how to release the implement properly. The athlete has the elbow up and trying to strike the implement by flicking the wrist and pushing the thumb down on the finish.
