Pole Vault: Four Step Two Hand Swing Drill

This is a four step two hand swing drill in the pole vault. This drill teaches an athlete a proper extension of the right hand all the way above their head and take off driving into the right knee, and most importantly delaying their trail leg leaving their trail leg or foot back behind them. Once the athlete takes off, feels that delay in that stretch, they are then trying to connect their top hand with their left hip, continually moving their hips up the pole throughout the pole vault drill.
