Medicine Ball: Overhead Straight Up Toss
This overhead med ball straight up in the air toss is used to engage the whole body. This drill can be used for a specific warm up for all track and field events the day before as well as the day of competition. The athlete squats down into a quarter squat position and drives their hips up as aggressively as possible in a triple extension position.
