Long Jump: 10-5-5 Drill Marks
This is a 10-5-5 drill marks drill used to create visual cues in the long jump short approach development.The athlete driving for 10 meters, then transitioning up for 5 meters, then turning over for 5 meters. Mark the athletes 10th step while noticing the multiple pieces of tape on the track. Have the athlete run this numerous times to find the most consistent mark and measure from this starting point to create the 10 step approach.
