Javelin: 3 and 5 Step Javelin Ball Throw
This is a basic 3-step javelin ball throw teaching the athlete to get the right leg and then the left down quickly. As the right foot lands, it turns and fires and then pushes up onto the left leg.

This 5 step javelin ball throw teaches the athlete a rhythm of a 5 step throw. There should be a 1-2-3-4-5 rhythm and then firing from the ground up, bending at the knee, the hip, and then the arm.
