How to Triple Jump: Short Approach Run Through

This is a short approach triple jump run through used to see if the athlete is in the correct place at the correct distance on the runway. In this video, the athlete is coming from 8 steps. We're checking to see if he is on the take off board while also looking for the athlete to run through the take off here, not load up and pop up like a long jump take off, but rather keeping the hips tall and running for the board in order to maintain velocity.
