How to Triple Jump: Short Approach Right-Right-Left Technique

This is a short approach triple jump where the athlete is using a right right left technique. The athlete should maintain very good posture and have good ground contact with the foot striking the ground directly underneath of their center of mass. In this particular video, the athlete is coming from a six step approach. It is important for the coach to put the cones at a take-off point where the athlete can comfortably make it into the pit while having good mechanics. As the athlete gets better, move the approach distance back further as well as moving the cones back to the overall triple jump board.
