How to Throw Shot Put: Glide Baby Step Drill
The glide baby step drill is used to teach the glide shot put throwers how to be active with the right foot in the middle of the ring. The athlete should overstep the middle of the circle by about 6 inches then pull the right foot underneath, landing actively turning the foot. As the athlete pulls the right foot underneath them trying to be in a quality power position.
