How to Throw Discus: Quarter Turns with Stick Drill

This is a quarter turns with stick drill, a drill used in training for the discus. This drill teaches the athlete to shift their weight over to the left side on the ball of their left foot. The athlete should focus on getting their center of mass over the left heel and picks up their right foot with the correct timing.
