How to High Jump: Resisted Box Step Up Drill

This is a resisted box step up drill, a drill used in high jump. There should be a band or cord around the jumpers waist, with an active step up on the take off leg onto a roughly one foot high box. The athlete should drive their knee and right arm, holding that position. This drill is a strengthening and stabilizing exercise to engage the core and hold that position. This is also a visualization exercise if this drill is set up next to the high jump bar.
