High Jump: 10 Step Rhythm Approach
This is a straight line, 10 step rhythm approach used by advanced high jumpers. The athlete runs a straight line off of the high jump apron. The athletes should focus on having a consistent first two steps developing rhythm throughout the run. The athlete will do this multiple times marking their 10th step. Once there is a consistent mark, draw a straight line and measure from the athletes starting point.
