This is a step in drill in the circle, a drill used in the discus. This drill is another progression towards a full discus throw. This drill teaches an athlete to actively land on the right foot, getting it to turn as soon as it has impact with the ground. In this drill, the athlete should be focused on keeping their weight back on the right foot while turning in the middle.
