This is a segmented full-line drill with a stick, a drill used in the discus. This drill teaches the athlete to put the proper steps together to complete a full rotation in the discus. The athlete should shift their weight from right to left, with their center of mass over their left heel, pause and reset, learning to run down the line with their hips keeping the right leg wide and landing with good posture with the head and chest up.
