This is a powerball full throw from the circle, a drill used in the discus. This drill teaches the athlete to put together the entire move of a full rotational discus throw. The athlete should focus on rhythm and timing throughout the throw going from slow to fast through the middle of the circle. The main key of this drill is to feel the shift of the weight from right to left out of the back of the circle, setting the athlete up for success in the full throw.
