This is a full discus move line drill with a cone, a drill used in the discus. The athlete straddles the line to imitate the position they would be in at the back of the discus circle. This allows the athlete to use the line to check their power position to make certain their feet are in the appropriate position at the end of the throw. Momentum is important in this drill as the athlete should move from slow to fast.
