Sprint Drill Mechanics: 30 Meter Cycle Accelerations

This 30 meter cycle accelerations (or ankling) teaches proper sprint mechanics at all levels in track and field. The athlete should keep the toe pulled into dorsi-flexion with the foot striking directly underneath of them on the ground, similar in motion to riding a bicycle. As the athlete accelerates out of the motion, it is important to keep the same frequency with slightly longer strides.
