Pole Vault: Upper Body Stretch Complex
This is a forward shoulder stretch complex for pole vaulters to be performed before a pole vault session. First, stand facing the pit with a pole up against the front of the pit. Then slowly take the hand from over the top of the head and work it out to the side. This drill stretches the pectoral muscles, the lats, the abdominal muscles. The whole shoulder girdle is going to be loosened up with these stretches.
