How to Triple Jump: Hop Phase Drill

This is a beginning level hop phase drill for a triple Jumpers. In this drill the athlete is taking two steps and running through the take-off, cycling the take-off foot back to the front side. This drill is done into the sand is to minimize impact on the athlete's body. This can be done multiple times as the athlete becomes proficient from two steps, you can add more speed by backing up to 4 steps, 6 steps, 8 steps, etc.
