How to Throw Shot Put: Medicine Ball Front Throw Drill

The shot put med ball front throw is a basic drill to teach athletes the simple mechanics of throwing the shot put. The athlete setting up in the power position with the right leg loaded and the shoulders back, and then firing from the ground up. The athlete is flicking the heel, firing the knee, pushing the hip, and then firing the upper body.
