This is a powerball front drill, a drill used in the discus performed into the side of the discus cage or a steady wall. This drill teaches an athlete sequential time from the ground up focusing on flicking the heel out while turning the right foot and hip before throwing with the upper body and arm. The athlete should shift their weight from right to left while maintaining balance with proper posture at the finish of the throw.
