This is a powerball half-turn drill, a drill used in the discus performed into the side of the discus cage. The drill teaches an athlete how to actively turn on the right foot. It is important to work from the ground up with an active right foot. The athlete should keep the right knee bent while rotating around to get the left foot down while finishing with proper posture and balance.
