This drill is the discus move line drill with a stick on the shoulders. In this drill the athlete is straddling the line to imitate a similar position to what they would have in the center of the back of the discus ring. The stick on the shoulders is significant as it causes the athlete to keep their head and chest up and also not throw their left arm out of the back, but rather run with the hips creating momentum with the upper body.
